Kenya Healthcare Federation (KHF) yesterday received a donation of 230 hospital mattresses (Medium density – mackintosh covered) from Covestro, in collaboration with Bobmil Industries Ltd, directed to the Government of Kenya. Covestro is among the largest suppliers of raw materials used in making mattresses and Bobmil Industries Ltd are leading manufacturers of the highest quality of beddings and bedding accessories (including hospital specification mattresses).
KHF CEO Dr Anastasia Nyalita, KHF Director Ms. Faith Muigai, KHF Regulations and Standards Committee Chair Millicent Olulo, Director of Health Standards and Quality Assurance at MOH Dr. Simon K. Kibias, were all present to receive the donation from Naomi Thiru of Covestro and the Bobmil Directors. 70 of the Mattresses were immediately dispatched to Mandera County.
